I'm Sokoteki, but most call me just Soko. I'm your Buff Shy Guy here to help work out your spirit and body!
When I'm not working out at the gym I stream regularly with video games, art, and more. Alongside my friends and my girlfriend, Yuki Goomba, we aim to have a fun time and a safe space where all are welcome.
VTUBER LORE
I'm just regular "shy guy" from a far off mysterious world filled with mushrooms as tall as skyscrapers. I was in search of a way to build up my confidence and body when I stumbled into a dense jungle where a mystical spirit granted my wishes.After wandering my land with the spirit I ventured into an old pipe and ended up on Earth!
Finding an abandoned old building I decided to put my spirit and myself to work and made "The Buff Guy's Gym" as a place for all to "be shy no more!"
ABOUT THE GYM
Once an abandoned old building, it’s now a thriving gym owned and operated by myself, Soko.
The gym boasts a variety of equipment and ways for you to increase that “fighting spirit” inside of you. Multiple floors, different exercise tracks, and equipment of all kinds, what’s not there to help you train to be a better you?!
Yuki’s mafia helps to “fund” the gym by getting people to sign up for it.
Doesn’t help that the gym being apart of her new mall makes it impossible to escape her business grasp.
THE FANTOMS
The Fantoms are my regular patrons at the Buff Guy’s Gym.Fantoms are small spirit like flames in a variety of colors, the most common is green like the fantom that helped me achieve my dreams to be stronger. Fantoms usually come into the gym to work out and achieve their goals, those goals can vary besides athletics though. These include Flambé our head chef at the gym cooking meals based on what I, Yuki, Chuck, or Natsu like.Members can “upgrade their flame” through checking into the gym constantly to get different colors. The more colors mean more passion about achieving your goals!
NATSU
Natsu was found one day washed ashore at the beach by myself. A little runt at first, I soon realized Natsu was more than I expected after taking him home. Natsu grew in size day by day as I nursed him to health and took care of him over the years. Once he was large enough I found Natsu had had a special ability to become big or small as he pleased, making it more convenient for car rides to get to where we needed to go. Now living with myself and Yuki, Natsu helps out at the Buff Guy’s Gym as a trainer, specializing in weights and swimming lessons at the gyms pool. When he’s not there he’s the helpful companion on streams speaking up for the Fantoms in chat. Well … helpful as a shark can be.
THE APARTMENT
A cozy studio apartment that Yuki and I live in located in the city, it's the perfect spot to relax after a long day running the gym or helping Yuki with her mall and “business”.
